The following are the rules specifically made for robberies without the city.


PD

You Must

  • Ensure the hostage is in good condition. Ask if they’ve been harmed, abused or fed upon request.

  • Prioritize the hostage’s life above all else. Confirm their safety before returning fire.

  • Agree to at least 2 negotiation terms from the robbers.

  • Allow a maximum of 5 seconds free passage

You Can

  • Return fire with intent to kill only if suppressive fire is initiated by robbers and you have a clear shot.

  • Engage in negotiations to de-escalate or resolve the situation peacefully.

You Cannot

  • Fire recklessly if the hostage is in danger. Clear line of sight is required.

  • Deny basic negotiation if reasonable terms are being discussed.


Robbers

You Must

  • Have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 robbers participating.

  • Take at least 1 hostage during the robbery.

  • Offer food or drink to the hostage if they ask.

  • Keep a weapon on the hostage at all times to maintain control.

You Can

  • Use suppressive fire to push back PD, this is warning fire, not meant to injure or kill.

  • Negotiate with PD for:

    • Free Passage

    • No Spikes

    • Any reasonable roleplay-based requests

  • Engage in lethal combat after suppressive fire is initiated.

  • Start a getaway after free passage is granted and you begin driving.

You Cannot

  • Use bikes as a getaway vehicle until PD has access to bikes.

  • Refuse to negotiate at all, must allow at least 2 terms for PD to consider.

  • Harm the hostage without reason, basic care must be shown if requested.


Hostage

You Must

  • Comply at all times when a weapon is pointed at you.

You Can

  • Ask for food or drink if needed, robbers are required to provide it.

  • Speak and request basic needs like water, food or safety.

  • Communicate with PD when approached about your condition.

You Cannot

  • Be a fake hostage, you cannot be part of the same gang or a friend of the robbers.

  • Try to escape or resist when clearly under threat from armed robbers.
